Etchall Etching Crème is a re-usable cream that produces a white opaque, permanent etched finish on glass, mirror, ceramic, porcelain, marble, and slate.
When using Etchall with Ikonart Smart Stencils, follow the directions on the bottle. Protect your work area. Clean the surface to be etched. Apply stencil and rub-down the edges to remove all air bubbles. Tape off the edges if needed. Apply a heavy coat of Etchall to open areas on the stencil. Let creme sit for 15 minutes. You can scrape off the excess creme and return to a container for re-use if desired. Flush etched surface with water to remove the remaining creme before removing the stencil.
After you etch, you can add a product like Rub n Buff or colored wax paste to your etched design for color.
Storage: Store at 65-85F (18-30 C) in the original container. Exposure to temperatures above 85F will cause creme discoloration, but will not affect creme usability or performance. Temperatures below 65F will produce crystals. If crystals are present, place the closed container in warm water for several minutes, then stir until crystals dissolve.
