Do you have a retail storefront?

No, Design Blanks is online only with contactless pick up options in Eugenia and the Town of Durham ON. Scroll down for our map and address.

What is your phone number?

We don't have a business phone number. Strange right? but that is often the way online businesses are run. 

We offer customer support by email at, through our contact form or send us a message through our Design Blanks Facebook page. 

Messages are answered between 10-5 Mon-Fri. We try to respond within 1-2 business days. 

Where do you ship from?

We ship from Eugenia ON. We ship to Canada and the continental USA.

How does it work if I want to pick up my order?

Place your order and select pick up when you are going through checkout. Your order will be ready in approx 1-2 business days. We will send an email to inform you it is ready and make arrangements with you at that time for pick up. Orders can be picked up from our convenient pick up bin outside the warehouse entrance.

When will my order ship?

The average processing time is 2 business days. Your order may have a longer processing time during busy seasons. We do not pack orders on evenings or weekends. When your order ships you receive an email notification. If you need it super speedy please add theRush Fee and you can jump the queue.

Please be aware that your shipping option does not have any effect on our processing times. 

How much is shipping? Do you have free shipping?

Shipping is based on weight. Shipping quotes appear on the checkout page of the website. This quotes come directly from Canada Post and Purolator.


Orders over $300 ship free to ON, QC

Orders over $500 ship free to MB, SK, NB, PE, NS

Orders over $600 ship free to NL, BC, AB

Orders over $165 ship for a FLAT RATE to the following provinces - 

$13 ON, QC

$20  MB, SK, NB, PE, NS.

$25 NL, BC, AB

Flat Rate packages are shipped by the most economical option at our discretion.

The flat rate shipping becomes an option at checkout once the minimum subtotal has been reached.

We ship to NWT using carrier provided rates.

We ship to the continental USA using carrier provided rates.

Packages are sent without requiring a signature. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a safe drop location. Contact us if you require an upgrade to signature for delivery and we will send you a invoice. This option is available for an additional $4. We are NOT responsible for lost or stolen parcels.

I forgot something. Can I add it to my order?

Find the Add-On fee at the bottom of the website. Read the instructions, it requires 2 steps.

Add to an order you have already placed and we will ship them together. Handy if you forgot something!

Cheaper than 2 full shipping fees. This combined shipping option can be used as many times as you like as long as you have an open order that you paid a full shipping fee on. 

**Be aware that in certain cases we won't be able to honour your add-on order. For example, if your order has already been packed it will be too late and we will contact you.

Can you rush my order?

Yes we can. Go ahead and add this RUSH FEE to your order and you will jump the queue and we will pack you and ship you on the next available truck.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancelled orders are subject to a $10 cancellation fee. 

We are charged website and payment processing fees when you place your order. These fees are not refunded to us when you cancel your order. Therefore our cancellation fees are non-negotiable.

What if I didn't select the right shipping option?

If you select the wrong shipping amount send us an email. If you selected ADD-ON order in error (without another open order in our system) The website will cancel and refund your order within 24-48hrs when it cant find the order it should add-on too. 

Can you ship my order by letter mail?

This option is sometimes available on small items. Oversize lettermail is $6 and will be invoiced by us. You cannot select this at shipping it must be approved and invoiced through a message.

Please note -

No tracking information. The shipping is cheaper but takes much longer than packages. You are responsible for the items, if the item does not reach you we will not be resending the item

** you can ask for this shipping method but it is at your own risk. 

Canada Post Expedited Parcel Shipping Service

Canada Post does not move mail on holidays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Delivery expectations are quoted in business days. Adverse weather, long weekends and holidays may also delay delivery. We find that they are notoriously late since the pandemic.

Local - 1 day

Regional - 3 days

National - 7 days

The shipping option you chose does not alter our order processing time. It only determines your delivery service.

Purolator Standard Delivery Times

The quickest option.

Purolator delivers in 1-2 days to most addresses in Ontario. 2 days for neighbouring provinces. 3 days for each coast. 

Upgrade to Purolator Express for even faster service.

Purolator does not move mail on holidays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Delivery expectations are quoted in business days. Adverse weather, long weekends and holidays may also delay delivery.

My parcel shipped but I haven't received it? or my tracking says delivered but I don't have it?

Check your tracking information. If the tracking information shows your parcel has not yet been delivered, or delivery has not been attempted, be patient and assured it is on its way.

**Expect a delay from when your label is printed until it gets picked up and scanned into the system. 

If the tracking shows it was delivered but you did not receive it, check your community mailbox, front door, garage, backdoors, porch. Sometimes your carrier will leave items in a safe spot. If you still haven't found it, please contact us. We do not have any more information other than what is available on the tracking website. We can place a trace on the package. A parcel trace can take 10-14 days. 

Design Blanks is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Risk of loss and title for items purchased from pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier or, if such items must cross an international border, then risk of loss and title pass to you when they clear customs.

My order is missing something

Yikes! That is never good, let us know and we will do our best to correct this in a timely manner

Do you offer bulk pricing?

A limited number of products have bulk pricing options on the website. It is not available on all products at this time.

I am ordering from the USA will I have to pay International taxes?

International taxes might be applied depending on your country's taxes policy. International taxes are your responsibility.

Customs duty is calculated as a percentage of the customs value of the goods: The percentage or rate varies depending on the type of goods. You can check the Import calculator for USA.

The customs value is made up of: the price paid for the goods, the insurance cost, the shipping cost.

Return Policy

You are responsible for checking your order. Inaccuracies must be reported within 7 days from receipt of delivery.

Order Issues?

Contact us, you must include your order number, name, email address and the reason for return. Include pictures, the first thing we will ask for is pictures of the issue and pictures of your packing slip.

Mistakes happen and we are happy to help set things straight in a timely manner.

RETURNS - Returns are considered on a case by case basis and must be approved prior to items being returned. Return shipping will be at your expense.  

**** Vinyl is custom cut to order and not eligible for return or refund!****

No refund will be issued until return items are received by us.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be -

* Unused/unopened and in the same condition that you received it.

*It must be in the original packaging.

Under NO circumstances will washed and/or worn items or altered/customized items ever be considered for a return.

Our return policy and our defect policy is 7 days from delivery. 

We will only accept returns for the following conditions:

  • Items that were originally and substantially defective. Not minor flaws or imperfections.
  • We sent the wrong item in error.

All returns should meet the following conditions:

  • You must contact us within 7 days of receiving the order. 

Refund or Store Credit will be processed after we receive the return.

~Please do not contact us about something you bought months or years ago. 

** Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee may apply (this does not apply to orders where wrong items were sent)

Damaged  items

It is common to see differences in style or colour between batches or lots. Frustrating but not considered a defect. If we are shipping you blue cups we make sure they are all from the same lot but they may not be an exact match to the order you placed previously. Each batch or lot is custom made for us.
